The Soft Close Mechanism is manufactured using gel filled dampers, which allows the seat and cover to close slowly and silently without slamming. This toilet seat is equipped with a bypass system, which will stop any damage or breakage occurring should the toilet seat or cover be forced shut against the smooth closing action, helps prevent children’s fingers being caught.
